With its recently improved handling and cabin quality, buyers will certainly find the 2017 Toyota Camry competitive and compelling in the midsize sedan segment. Some of the highlights for 2017 include an excellent V6 engine, above average backseat space, comfortable and roomy interior, good visibility, user-friendly interior controls, and distinct sport and luxury trim levels. Its release date, going by our online sources, should be expected sometime early next year.
New add-ons for 2017 include a new Special Edition trim that comes bundled with blue interior accents, smoke taillights, and a sporty gauge cluster. The Camry has been one of the perennial best-sellers for Toyota that has evolved gracefully without abandoning its roots. And with aggressively and nimble rivals gripping at its heels, Toyota designers managed to stage a comprehensive overhaul that has seen the vehicle get tauter sport-tuned suspension system and sleeker looks.
The Special Edition trim has been introduced in order to sustain the momentum from last year’s redesign. It comes boasting of flashy 18” wheels, styling flourishes, smoked taillights, vibrant blue color interior trim, and SE’s sport-tuned suspension system. The company also acknowledges that not everyone loves tuner-inspired styling flourishes and performance, which is the reason there are both the LE and XLE trims.
